This project for ten luxury super apartments was a real pleasure to work on. This site came to Evans & Traves already with a planning permission for nine flats. The brief from the developer client was to enhance the value of the site through obtaining a new planning permission improving the design quality and layout of each flat.
With a carefully considered analysis of the site and with attention to the detailed layout of the individual flats not only were we able to increase the size of the individual apartments but we were also able to add an additional apartment.
Capturing the spectacular views out over Poole Harbour was particularly important as well as using traditional materials in a contemporary manner that respects our climate. High internal ceilings, flowing spaces and understanding the expectations of a very discerning market created a design that achieved the enhanced value sought by the client.
