The replacement of an existing Nursery to residential use with two cottage style houses was developed following a detailed analysis of those buildings that make a positive contribution to the character of the area. The use of thatch in a traditionally designed way for a new family dwelling retains and re-enforces locally distinctive materials and crafts.
