This replacement house in Branksome Park was designed for a private client who employed Evans & Traves LLP for a comprehensive service from achieving planning permission by appeal through to the design of individual rooms and assisting with the build process.

The clients aspiration was to create a traditional family home inspired by an Italianate Victorian Villa, a movement that came to Britain following the ‘Grand Tour’ of the Victorian Upper Classes. The low pitched roof with wide eaves, corbelled bracket details, tall sliding sash windows and grand internal staircase make this house a true quality addition to Branksome Park.
