Bungalows in West Christchurch

Development of three detached bungalows in West Christchurch designed and built by Evans & Traves LLP. This was an in-fill development. The concept here was to re-create the very traditional and locally distinctive bungalows of the area in the inter-war golden age style of bungalow development.

Externally the bonnet hipped plain clay tiled roof with black rainwater goods, corner creasing tiles and oak posts adds to the detail and richness of the bungalow. Internally, the bungalows were designed for contemporary living with clean, modern finishes, sliding folding doors accessing the gardens and a vaulted roof over a sun room.

The development was fully landscaped and high quality ground surfaces such as resin bond gravel and block paving adds to the overall quality of the finish.
